Interface Media Group
I started at Interface Media Group in Washington, D.C. in November 2021 as an Assistant Editor. In addition to helping editors set up their projects and providing assistance in other daily operations, I jumped in on some editing projects where needed.
I was promoted to Creative Editor in April 2025, where I have been working on projects such as: verticalizing/making square versions of SAMHSA videos, replacing media footage and graphics for a NASA film, editing a political spot for Sean Carlson, and serving as the main editor on university lecture courses, utilizing IPV Curator and Lucid Link in Adobe Premiere Pro for online proxy editing.
LSE Module Example
I utilized Lucid Link to edit an Executive Education video for our global education client, using the framework set by them (there was no budget for music or SFX), and delivered 10 videos with a consistent format over the course of 2 weeks.
Iron Bow Rough Stringout
I worked with the Creative Director to create a rough stringout of what our client wanted, picking the music track myself (along with providing a second option with another music track), looking for stock footage to fit the tone of the video, and overall matching to the Creative Director's styleframes as closely as possible. I was needed for another project, and the Creative Director took the video to the finish line. The final video was shown in Capital One Arena.
PBSK Holiday Singalong
I assisted another editor in creating the bouncing singalong lyrics for PBS Kids holiday videos in After Effects.
Sean Carlson Campaign Video
For this project, I managed the full edit — organizing and reviewing takes, selecting the most compelling b-roll, and shaping the pacing and flow of the story. I collaborated closely with a graphic designer, who created the custom motion graphics, and worked directly with client notes to ensure the final cut aligned with their vision. I also adapted the video into a square format for use on social platforms, extending its reach and versatility.
Interface Media Event Production Sizzle
I was tasked with collaborating with an IMG producer and new IMG Executive Event Producer on creating an events sizzle reel to showcase the past event productions put on by us.
American Association of Political Consultants
Worked with Project Manager and Producer to cut down the various testimonials from friends and colleagues, as well as help the video content flow in a concise and humorous manner. Assisted with the motion graphics editing at the open and close of the video using After Effects.
Johns Hopkins Catastrophic Contagion Trailer
I was tasked with creating a "sizzle" trailer for an upcoming Johns Hopkins event- "Catastrophic Contagion, a high-level pandemic exercise" I pulled clips from previous pandemic training event footage and current edits from our editors. I worked with a project manager and our clients, working through multiple versions.
Johns Hopkins Catastrophic Contagion- The Value of Exercises
I was tasked with assisting in a cutdown 2+ hours of footage to 7 minutes of interview content about the importance of global exercises. I worked with a project manager and our clients to create this. I used After Effects to create all of the moving graphics.
